Today seems like the longest day ever! I've been up and moving around then napping, then eating, then visiting, then more check ups. The pain has been milder. I'm on Tylenol 3 now since the other medicine was giving me bizarre dreams. The Dr. saw me this morning and removed one of my three draining tubes. He is still confident that I will get to go home on Friday.
Mark and the boys came to see me, Mattheus's eyes were really big when he saw me with tubes coming out of my neck and kept asking what is that mommy? Marcus and Maximus were a little shocked too but very happy to see me. It was so good to see them again I really missed them! After their short visit, Lisa and Granpa took all three boys to Chuckee-cheese, what fun! Mom, dad, and Mark stayed and kept me company.
The beautiful scent of flowers all in my room uplifts me. My little lady neighbor who's sharing the room with me keeps commenting on how many flowers and cards I have. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
The insicion is very large about 8" long. It feels uncomfortable now, hope it feels better as time goes by. I better order my dinner before they close. I think I will order the asparougous soup again, it was super tasty earlier for lunch, and my vanilla yogurt. I've had a couple of Popsicles that really relieved some of the soreness in my t throat, really liking them!
Good night everyone blessings to all. Imelda
Meli if I were there I would make you pumpkin soup & something delicious & cold for dessert. I know - how about a milkshake-yummo. Our thoughts & prayers continue to be with you & the family. Tell your mom & dad not to work too hard. Save some work for Mark (like maybe cleaning the bathrooms & changing the sheets on the beds) something easy -haaa! Anyway my dear friend we love you & blessings for tomorrow.
ReplyDeletePS that was from Jack B's better half
ReplyDeleteHi Imelda,
ReplyDeleteI was up praying for you at 5 a.m. as that is the time the Lord got me up.
A verse for you: You are Zion.
"The Lord will surely comfort Zion and will look with compassion on all her ruins. He will make her deserts like Eden, her wastelands like the garden of the Lord. Joy and gladness will be found in her. Thanksgiving and the sound of singing" Is. 51:3
