I had a such a good day yesterday, Dawn Waltz came by and spent all day keeping me company with great conversation or watching over me while I rested. It's so nice to have friends and family reach out when you need it, thank you Jesus for loving me so. Theresa also cheered me up with her visit and to top. It all of, just before bed, uncle Cecil! What a great time and special visits. Thank you so much.
Well this morning I had a very abrupt awakening when the nurse accidentally kicked my tray table and dumped cold water all over my bed!!!!yikes!! About five till six this morning. I had been sound asleep up till then and could not fall back asleep after that incident.
It was better that way since the doctor resident came by shortly after to remove my last draining tube and stitches, yippie! He put a kinda sticky tape over the incision. My discharge papers have been signed and I'm all ready to go. Now I just have to wait on Pete, Mark, and Marcus. They are having breakfast and will be here soon.
Ia will have to come back next week for a check up. For now I go home with lots of drugs. Including the thyroid replacement hormone, which I'll take from now on. About 6 weeks later I will have a radioactive iodine test done to see if there any more bad thyroid cells in my body. So please keep praying for me.
